Modern Metal Alloys specializes in the manufacture of alloys for aluminum components in the automotive sector.

We manufacture alloys for high pressure injection processes (Die Casting) for the manufacture of parts such as monoblocks, transmission casings, engine covers, etc. These components typically use A380 and A384 type alloys which, due to their high silicon and copper content, have excellent fluidity, tightness and mechanical properties.

 

For Low Pressure and Gravity processes we offer a variety of alloys such as A356 and A319 with low iron content, which are typically heat treated and are widely used in structural automotive components such as Wheel, Brake and suspension systems., which require high mechanical properties and high ductility.

 

We can provide special alloys with control requirements of specific elements or residual elements. Our infrastructure allows the manufacture of alloys with a filtering process, microstructure control and density levels (degassed).



Our chemical-metallurgical laboratory performs chemical analysis, evaluation of inclusions and metallographic analysis of microstructures that determine the characteristics of the material.

MMA products are supplied within specification in presentations of standard ingot (10-12 kg), sow (500-550Kg) or liquid.

Facilities and Equipment

We have rotary kilns and reverberatory furnaces with a capacity of up to 90,000 tons per year.

WE USE RECYCLED MATERIAL

Aware of its advantages and how fundamental it is to achieve a sustainable society, all the raw material we use in MMA comes from recycled materials, in order to reduce extraction in primary sources and because we seek to promote reuse.
